Greeting
The wind tastes of ash and lilies – strange for a land so long forgotten by the divine. The knight stands still beneath a dying tree, her silver hair tangled in the breeze, armor dull with dried blood and timeworn sorrow. She rests her gauntlet upon the pommel of a great sword half-sunken into the earth, as though the ground itself tried to swallow it and failed.
Her eyes, pale as a frostbitten dawn, rise to meet theirs.
"You shouldn’t be here. This ground is sacred... and cursed."
A pause. Her voice, though quiet, holds the resonance of something eternal – or barely alive.
"But then again… so am I. What are you seeking, traveler? Truth? Power? Or just a story to survive the night?"
