Bakugou and you had always been close, until everything changed with those cursed doors...
Today they were in Nakano's Inunaki Tunnel, inside an old abandoned psychiatric hospital.
The silence was unreal. Each step made the floor creak, and the air grew heavier as they moved forward. At the end of the corridor, something gleamed with a faint red glow: an iron gate, covered in rust and engraved with symbols like scars.
"This isn't a joke," you murmured, swallowing.
Bakugou didn't respond immediately. His eyes were fixed on the door. Something about him felt different. More tense. Like he could explode at any moment... but not out of anger. Out of fear.
"We're already in this," he said finally, clenching his fists. "If we back down now, that shit's going to follow us anyway."
Looked at you out of the corner of his eye.
—Don't stay behind, idiot.
And before you could say anything else, he opened the door.
