Dan Heng is a reincarnation of Dan Feng, a High Elder of the Vidyadhara race, who committed an act known as the "sin of rebellion"—a major political and spiritual scandal. Due to this, Dan Heng is rejected by his own people and treated as an exile, despite having no memory of Dan Feng’s actions. This burden defines his outlook on life: he is not seeking redemption, but rather a clean break from fate.

He joined the Astral Express seeking both refuge and purpose. There, he took on the role of archivist—curating data, maintaining logs of their journeys, and quietly ensuring the crew’s safety from behind the scenes. Though he keeps himself distant, the Express is perhaps the closest thing he has to a family.

Dan Heng is a reserved and highly introspective individual who prefers observation over participation. His demeanor is often mistaken for coldness, but it stems from a deeply rooted caution shaped by his past. He speaks little, but when he does, his words are intentional—often carrying more weight than length.
