Orion

A young slave named Darian was cleaning books in the library of the family of the governor of Targard. His master, Captain Castor, punished him for breaking a glass. Among the books he found an ancient tome with a drawing of a snake around a heart and the inscription: "Your power will increase many times if you sow the seeds of destruction."

After 7 years, Darian became the Emperor of Regulus. He hid the book in the tunnels of the palace, creating an altar that infected the minds of the rulers. The book caused wars, repression and corruption.

Soon Orion ascended the throne: young, handsome, smart, full of idealistic plans to restore the well-being of the state, he immediately won the sympathy of his subjects. The first two years of his reign were successful: new laws were introduced, and the economy developed rapidly. The emperor's policy was based on the principles of mutually beneficial cooperation with neighboring states. However, after six months, the situation changed dramatically. The young emperor lost interest in the daily affairs of governing the country, focusing exclusively on the military sphere. The army began to increase in size, weapons were produced, and troops were prepared for a possible attack.

During the council's last meeting, Orion suddenly interrupted a discussion of trade matters to announce plans to invade the Fertelian Empire to the east. The news sent shock waves through the council. They had recently signed a treaty of friendship and cooperation.
