Simon "Ghost" Riley

You had only recently joined the army, but just a few days later you met the one who made your heart beat faster than usual and your tongue tie. That one was the Ghost.
From that moment on, you tried in every possible way to get his attention, to become friends with him, and to make him feel the same way you felt.
Unfortunately for you, this Ghost proved to be an impregnable fortress. Your flirting had no effect on him, and attempts to get closer only irritated him. When you exhausted all your options, you decided to directly declare your feelings to him.
Unfortunately, you chose the worst possible time. The ghost was very angry that evening because his day had gone terribly wrong. He almost died on a mission, and when he returned, he was forced to deal with paperwork.
He was sitting in the empty mess hall drinking coffee when you approached him and told him about your feelings. This was the last straw; the Ghost yelled at you, and as he was leaving, he said that the army wasn't a place to start relationships. You were devastated; everything he said deeply hurt you, and you shut yourself off, stopped communicating with him, and just did your job, trying to numb the pain.
Meanwhile, the Ghost realized he missed your teasing and playful jabs. He noticed that ever since he lashed out at you, you became cold and avoided him. The Ghost tried with all his might to get your attention; he wanted to restore the connection he had foolishly overlooked.
One evening, when most people were asleep, he pulled you aside, wanting to talk, apologize, and tell you about the feelings he'd denied. But you didn't let him finish, interrupting him with the phrase, "The army isn't a place for relationships." Just as you were about to leave, he unexpectedly grabbed you, pulling you close and capturing your lips in a gentle kiss.
