Techniques/Attacks
•Garuda Flap: This is a technique that involves throwing the target high into the air at a dizzying speed so that it impacts the ground. •Galactica Illusion: This is the most powerful technique used by Aiacos of Garuda. To execute it, he concentrates his cosmos in his arms and crosses them rapidly, forming an "X" in front of his body. Then, he raises his arms in that position, creating an interdimensional space in which stars, planets, and strange beings belonging to that realm can be glimpsed. These beings, spherical in shape with a single bright eye in the center, fix their gaze on the victim. The pressure generated in this interdimensional space is so intense that it causes devastating damage to the opponent and can even fragment their body into pieces. When the technique concludes, the interdimensional space disappears and the opponent's body, wounded or shattered, falls to the ground. •Galactica Deathbringer: This consists of creating three giant eyes (similar to those on the helmet of Garuda's Sapuri), from which powerful bursts of cosmic energy emanate. When these strike the enemy, they cause their nervous system to burn. •Garuda Flaps Galaxy: Aiacos raises his arms, this time in an X shape, and creates a large magic circle that opens in front of him, revealing a universe full of stars and galaxies. Then, it begins to spin rapidly, creating a strong pressure that increases as it advances. • Surendra Jit: A pillar of ascending energy that, as it gains height, forms a large X, from which thousands of burning feathers fall to the ground, spreading throughout the place.
History.
Aiacos, refusing to believe it, attacked the Bronze Saint with rapid, unconnected blows. Aiacos was surprised by Ikki's speed, but before he could do anything else, the Phoenix struck him with his Phoenix Genma Ken. The Specter downplayed the move and responded with another Galactica Illusion, but to his horror, Ikki was unharmed and reiterated his previous statement that the same technique cannot be successfully used against a Saint twice. He then reversed the attack, and Aiacos's entire body was completely shattered to pieces by his own move. Aiacos broke out of his trance when he realized it was Ikki's technique. Minos and Radamanthys were stunned by what had happened. Ikki then declared the fight over; Aiacos was no longer a suitable opponent for him. Enraged by the idea of a Netherworld Leader losing to a Bronze Saint, Aiacos went against Ikki with another attack. Ikki, now more concerned about the rumors that his brother is now Hades, decided to quickly end the fight using the powerful Gōka Senpū, sending the judge flying and incinerating him while he screamed in pain, being burned to death by the technique.
History.
Ikki of the Phoenix appeared to help Kanon and rescue him from Minos's technique. Aiacos decides to get rid of the trash and attacks the Saint of Phoenix, sending him flying through the air, but Ikki survives and cries. Aiacos mocks him and decides to hit him again to kill him, but to his surprise, Ikki quickly gets up and lands a blow that knocks off his helmet. Aiacos, wanting a battle, challenges the Saint of Phoenix to a fight. From the start, Aiacos demonstrates greater speed and agility than Ikki. Aiacos tells him he's too slow; the judge gets bored and decides to end the fight by executing his Garuda Flap, which consists of launching Ikki into the air and then letting him crash brutally to the ground in an X shape. However, the Phoenix survives. Aiacos decides to use the Garuda Flap a second time, confident that there will be no repetition since he left Ikki badly wounded. However, this time Ikki doesn't fall in the X; instead, he surprises Aiacos from behind and attacks him, knocking him to the ground. Standing triumphantly over his opponent, the Phoenix declares that the same technique cannot be used successfully against a saint twice. Aiacos quickly gets up and hits the Phoenix, knocking him to the ground in pain. Aiacos takes advantage of Ikki's inability to get up and executes his Galactica Illusion, telling him that if he wants a technique that works against him now, he'll get what he wants, but he'll die watching it. However, Ikki doesn't explode into a thousand pieces, but he stops getting up and moving, so Aiacos considers him dead.
Aiacos began to gloat that he had finally finished off the Phoenix and challenged Kanon, telling him that it was now his turn to die like Phoenix, but very soon, Ikki stood up once more. At this point, Kanon warned Aiacos that each time Ikki was resurrected, he would become more powerful than before.
History.
After Suikyō's defeat, Alone descends to Earth to punish him for his loss, manipulating Violate's inert body. However, the action is interrupted by Tenma. He reappears, releasing Violate's hair as he bids her farewell; it is at this moment that he encounters Kagaho of Bennu, who calls him Ex-Judge. Aiacos states that he is no longer a judge and that Kagaho will be the new judge. Bennu asks if he minds, but Aiacos replies that he feels nothing for the title. When Bennu attacks him, destroying his Surplice and calling him by his true name, Suikyō, Kagaho retreats from the battlefield, leaving Aiacos alive. 247 years later, Aiacos's soul is revived, ready to fight again. In the Underworld, Aiacos receives another call from Pandora, this time to go to Judecca. Aiacos, along with the other two Underworld Leaders, are invited by Pandora to attend Orphee's recital, but Orphee betrays them and uses a technique to put them and Pandora to sleep, thus killing Hades without their interference. Later, upon waking, he learns that Radamanthys eliminated Orphee and Seiya, and that Andromeda turned out to be Hades. He wonders, along with the other judges, how it's possible that the Saint of Andromeda is Hades, to which Pandora silences them and tells them that she is the only one in charge of that. Then she orders them that the three of them must kill all the Saints who have entered the Underworld. Aiacos intervenes with Minos to help Radamanthys, who was having trouble fighting Kanon of Gemini. Garuda immediately became interested in the battle and attacked Kanon with his Galactica Illusion. Kanon survived because Radamanthys intervened, saying that Kanon is his opponent, not Aiacos's, but he was immediately a victim of Minos's Cosmic Marionation.
History.
The battle between the Saints and the Specters takes place on flying ships. Aiacos's ship rises and attacks the Ship of Hope head-on; Yato of the Unicorn is in charge of steering the ship. Aiacos of Garuda sets his own ship ablaze, crew and all, to strike the defenders of Athena with that power and incinerate them, but just before the impact, Sisyphus stops the blow with his own hands and, with his technique Kheiron's Light Impulse, extinguishes the black fire and saves the crews of both ships. Aiacos's crew recognizes how they were saved by the Gold Saint, while Garuda's ship, though no longer burning, strikes the Ship of Hope with force. Seeing doubt in his men, Aiacos attacks and kills them, calling them disposable. The Judge disembarks and faces the Sagittarius Saint, both ready to begin a one-on-one battle. Aiacos of Garuda makes his characteristic X mark on the ground, where he assures Sisyphus will fall dead when he uses his technique on the Saint. Sisyphus attacks Garuda with a rain of arrows, but uses one of his surviving subordinates as a shield; therefore, Sagittarius stops attacking and becomes vulnerable to the Specter's Garuda Flaps Galaxy, which immobilizes the Saint. He then uses his greatest technique, Galactica Illusion, leaving Sisyphus for dead, but Sisyphus rises. He is attacked again by Garuda's Galactic Illusion. To avoid dying, Sisyphus decides to blind himself to avoid perceiving the eyes of the Specter's Illusion. However, Aiacos reveals that it doesn't matter that Sagittarius has destroyed his eyes, as the technique goes directly to the brain. On the verge of death, Sisyphus awakens the Eighth Sense, the sense to survive the Underworld, and frees himself from the Galactic Illusion, attacking Garuda with a powerful burst of light, defeating him definitively. In the end, he is defeated but does not die.
History.
Little is known of his past except that he was born with the name Suikyō, which he abandoned when he became the Judge of Garuda. Aiacos first appears alongside Rhadamanthys and Minos, among other specters, at the Meeting in Italy convened by the god Hades, who is none other than Alone, where Pandora selects Minos of the Griffin and his troop, assigning them the mission of invading the Sanctuary of the goddess Athena and assassinating her Saints. After Hades' imprisonment at the hands of Pandora, who had received this order from the twin gods, Hypnos and Thanatos, the young woman summoned Aiacos and Rhadamanthys, informing them of what had happened. When the Saints repair the Ship of Hope, part of the Garuda Division arrives to assault and destroy the vessel. Thus, Violate of Behemoth confronts Regulus of Leo, but the young Leo defeats her, demonstrating significant superiority, but finally the Judge of the Underworld disables Leo. Aiacos heads towards the Ship, but Sisyphus protects the interior integrity of the ship from the Spectre's attack, who prepares to use the heavy weapon of his own Black Ship. Tenma and Yato fly in the reborn Ship of that era; Garuda delivers a speech in which he rejects the idea that Sisyphus has bonds of friendship with the other saints, that his subordinates should not be his friends but only subordinates who fear their leader. Aiacos attacks the Ship with the technique Conqueror of Indra, black flames that he shoots from the ground to the sky where the ship is, but Sisyphus, in the blink of an eye, is already on the ship's mast and intercepts the flames of the Judge of the Underworld, launching a shower of golden arrows.
Personality.
Suikyō is portrayed as a ruthless man, capable of sacrificing his own soldiers for victory, claiming that they only serve him out of fear of his power. Despite this, he shows a close relationship with Violate of Behemoth.
Appearance.
Aiacos has the appearance of a young man, with fair skin and semi-long black hair, a black color with a hint of violet, and generally wears his respective Surplice like all Specters of Hades.
