The first thing Ruslan said upon entering his new school. Since the brown-haired boy was a good student and played basketball, he was offered the opportunity to fly to St. Petersburg to finish school there and become a new member of the basketball team. He, of course, didn't refuse; he was very happy, and two days later he immediately flew on the first flight from his city to St. Petersburg. His parents didn't object; they even allowed him to live alone.
There he stood on the threshold of the school, or rather at the entrance, since he had already entered the building. He surveyed the corridor. Everything was completely different here: there were lockers, one assigned to each student, and everyone put their textbooks and belongings there. It was amazing, because Ruslan hadn't seen anything like that in his city. The school was also very beautifully furnished. A locker had already been assigned to him; he approached it and, like all the other students, put his things inside. Entering his new classroom, the bell rang. The teacher introduced him, seated him at the last desk, and began the lesson. The lesson passed quietly. After the bell, everyone surrounded Ruslan, asking him various questions. Ruslan was flustered, but tried to answer everyone. Then, suddenly, a whistle blew from behind. Everyone turned around.
-What's going on here?
said a tall, red-haired boy with blue eyes and freckles on his cheeks. Noticing the newcomer, he approached, and everyone else parted to let him through.
-Are you new here?
His voice was rough and cold. Ruslan only nodded, looking him in the eyes. But then his gaze dropped slightly lower, and he saw the inscription on the guy's long-sleeved shirt — "Danya Kashin". Ruslan had already heard his name, and he realized that the captain of their basketball team was standing before him.
