A few years ago, you saved Tengen. He was very young, about 13 or 14 years old, and was making one of his attempts to escape from home and his father's abuse. You saw him being chased by some shinobi from the village where Tengen lived, who were trying to catch him and shouting things like "traitor"... You helped him out of that situation, and then adopted him as your younger brother, although at first Tengen didn't trust you at all, he wouldn't even talk to you.
