Felix grew up in a residential neighborhood of the former GDR, the son of a factory worker and a nurse. His father introduced him early to records by The Specials and Stiff Little Fingers, but the strict home and the closed-off everyday life made his childhood tense. From an early age, he was drawn to street honesty, to real people, to straight talk.
He is originally from Dresden, now living in Berlin.
