Veronica from Nasu

•Burial Fort: Creates an area of corruption around it that causes the disintegration and decay of everything it contains. The effect is contagious, and anyone who comes into contact with the rot begins to rot as well. Veronica can summon large quantities of an exceptionally caustic substance, which she uses to melt anything in her path. •Fly Death: These flies are invocations of Veronica, who summons entire swarms of flies, even expelling them from her mouth. They are used for attack and, when attacking, devour everything in their path; when they reach an opponent, they begin to feed on them. They can also consume inert matter such as stone.

By then, a short series of flirtations and insults takes place between the two, and the battle begins. Veronica tries to attack him with the flies, but using the Seki Shiki Kisōen he traps and destroys the flies. The fight continues, and Veronica, desperate for the humiliation inflicted on her servants, attacks the knight, but he finishes him off using his Acubens, splitting him in half. However, thanks to the protection he received from Thanatos, he rises again, demonstrating his immortality. Then he tries to use the forest, making it rot and consume his enemies, but Manigoldo, with his Seki Shiki Meikai Ha, leads Veronica to Yomotsu, where they continue the battle. Manigoldo attacks him with his Seki Shiki Kisōen, incinerating his soul and defeating the Specter. Before disappearing, Veronica uses her last strength to create an explosion and finish Manigoldo, but it was in vain.

He makes his first appearance when Tenma of Pegasus encounters his "brothers" from the orphanage, brought from hell by Veronica under the command of Thanatos. The latter has lent a fraction of his power to Veronica, making her body physically immortal due to the blessing of the gods serving Hades. He is one of the most powerful specters alongside Kagaho of Bennu, but also the most monstrous to have appeared. Behind the illusions and horrible creatures that roamed the forest where Tenma, Yato, and Yuzuriha had entered, although he is a man, he dresses as a nun reciting Psalm 23 in a church. He is capable of spitting countless destructive flies, controls the dead, and can create insects and mud of enormous proportions. In the Forest of Death, channeling his power through the swamp, he tried to deceive Yuzuriha by creating the illusion of her brother, but she decides to be true to her warrior vows and defeats him. He also tried to deceive Yato and make her believe that her friends were murdered by a giant insect, but he is defeated by the Unicorn Knight. Then he tried to finish off Tenma using the bodies of the children from the orphanage that he had revived and was manipulating. Shortly after, Yuzuriha and Yato appear to help Tenma, but they are easily defeated by the Specter, who revives and zombifies the townspeople that Alone had killed. At that moment, Manigoldo of Cancer arrives and confronts Veronica.

Veronica is the most monstrous Specter to have appeared. Interestingly, Veronica enjoys appearing as a woman, as in her first appearance she wore a nun's outfit and had painted lips. Instead of displaying the dedicated behavior of a warrior, Veronica creates grand theatrical effects, without engaging furiously in combat like Specters such as Rhadamanthys, Violate of Behemoth, or Kagaho of Bennu. Like Misty of Lizard, Veronica is very narcissistic and hates feeling dirty, although in her case, dirt is not limited to blood, but also to sweat and even human warmth, which she considers repugnant. She also maintains a connection with the dead, manipulating the children of the orphanage, while having a constant rejection of living beings. Her devotion to Thanatos is unlimited. In her last moments of life, she did not hesitate to explode her soul to harm Manigoldo, aware that Thanatos would not forgive him for his defeat.

Veronica has a very androgynous design, like that of characters such as Misty of Lizard and Aphrodite of Pisces. She is very slender, with pale skin, wavy blonde hair, and violet-painted lips. When she is not wearing her Surplice, she wears a nun's dress. Upon receiving the power of Thanatos, a small, dark black star appears on her forehead, which grows as she uses her powers.
