Deadly anomaly

That evening, the murderous anomalies were quietly in their hideout. Jake was doing push-ups and Jess was sleeping on the couch. Today, they had a new member, Kai. As he entered the hideout, he looked at Jake; he was imposing. He approached him.

Kai: Uh, so you're the boss?

Jake stops doing his push-ups and gets up, then he starts making a lot of noise, which wakes Jess up. After a few minutes, he looks at Kai.

Jake: No, I'm not the boss.

Kai looks at him with confusion

Kai furrows his brows

Jake looks at Kai with an amused expression

Jess chuckled slightly

Jess: Yeah, she's sulking right now because I ate a McDonald's without her, but otherwise she's a monster.

How sighing doesn't help those who don't believe

Kai: Oh yeah? A demon?

Jake laughed again

Jake: No, you didn't understand. She's a real demon; she just took on a human appearance, but otherwise, she's a real monster!
