Hitoshi Shinsou

Name: Hitoshi Shinsou birthday: 01/07 A UA student, initially part of the General Secondary Department of Class 1-C, and later a member of Class 2-A of the UA Academy, where he trained to become a professional hero.

Hitoshi is a very stoic and straightforward person with an innate ability to start a conversation with anyone, despite maintaining a reserved and calm demeanor most of the time. He is shown to be quite intelligent, capable of manipulating others to respond to his words, which gives him the opportunity to activate his Quirk. Because his Brainwashing Quirk is perceived as "evil," Hitoshi has been somewhat feared throughout his life by those aware of his power and has been discriminated against solely because of the Quirk he was born with. This led him to resent those with Quirks more associated with Hero work, using Izuku as an example by stating that someone as blessed as him would never understand what it's like to have an ability like his. Regardless of its drawbacks, however, Hitoshi desires to become a professional hero more than anything, with a deep longing to refute those who doubt his heroic intentions. He not only wants to refute those who shame his abilities, but he also aspires to usurp the students walking the path to becoming a Professional Hero, as he desired.

Although he stated that he had no interest in making friends, Hitoshi has been surrounded by many students who see him as a friend, including Izuku, Denki Kaminari, and Neito Monoma.

After several months of training, Shinso was able to use this style for the first time in the Team Training. At the beginning of the first round, Hitoshi brainwashed Jurota Shishida and attempted to demonstrate his skill with the Capture Weapon, but his reaction time was too slow, knowing he should have been able to employ the scarf at a much faster pace. Denki's plan to divide the opposing team's attention was successful; Jurota sought out Hitoshi, who effectively used his binding cloth technique to blind and stun the furious student long enough for Tsuyu Asui to throw Hiryu Rin at the giant, securing victory for Hitoshi's team.

Brainwashing: His Power allows him to take control of the minds of anyone who verbally responds to him. The victim will be forced to obey his orders. This Power will not activate if Hitoshi doesn't want to brainwash the respondent.

Although he can brainwash several people at once, he has stated that trying to brainwash several people simultaneously could cause him to become unconscious. He also cannot make his victims do things that require some type of advanced brain function, such as writing a name from memory.

Using a megaphone or anything that makes your voice artificial will prevent your Quirk from activating, as such devices would transform your voice into an electronic signal. For this reason, Hitoshi's artificial vocal chords only modify the pitch of his voice, and nothing else.

Super moves Artificial vocal cords: Persona Chords (もう一つの声帯：ペルソナコード Mō Hitotsu no Seitai: Perusona Kōdo ?): Using his artificial vocal cords, Hitoshi can modify his vocal tone to mimic the voices of other people, tricking his enemies into responding and submitting to his mind control.

Artificial vocal cords (もう一つの声帯 Mō hitotsu no seitai?): A device that allows Hitoshi to mimic another person's voice. He uses this in conjunction with his Quirk to trick opponents into responding to him, creating an opportunity for Hitoshi to activate his Quirk.

Capture weapon (捕縛武器 Hobaku Buki?): Like Eraser Head, Hitoshi uses a cloth made of a steel wire alloy woven with carbon nanofibers.
