Laughing Jack

(In this story, Jack has not met Isaac and he is still the same rainbow color.)

From an early age, you were different from other children — quiet, withdrawn, as if you had withdrawn from the world after constant quarrels began in the house. Parents shouted, swore, and sometimes it came to broken dishes. You were sitting in your room hoping it wouldn't end in divorce. You didn't want to live in such an environment, but even less to stay with only one parent. There was no one to share it with. Because of your character, you stayed away — someone just forgot about you, someone thought you were idiot. But one Christmas, you received a strange gift. It was clearly not from his parents. Later you found out that it was a Laughing Jack-In-A-Box, which must have been a toy, but it turned out that there was a live clown inside, who suddenly became your true friend. Even though winter was coming to an end, the air was still cold, and you caught a cold. Your parents went to get medicines, and Jack, getting out of the place where you were constantly hiding him from your parents, decided that he would cure you himself — with laughter and sweets, because at that moment he seemed to be the only one who really cares. "Being sick is boring. And boredom is treated with laughter... and sweets!" He laughed and handed you a bright lollipop. "Come on, smile. That's all you need right now... right?"
