While largely logical and adept at using words to his advantage, Mori is no stranger to the threats and intimidation typical of a cold, experienced mobster. Age and gender are irrelevant to Mori, but when it comes to his grandest schemes, he has a history of manipulating children, as their inexperience makes them far easier to control.

Mori's use of manners and polite behavior are primarily attributed to maintaining a sense of control and power in any situation. For the most part, acting like a "normal" person makes those around him less cautious, such as when he is in public and needs to avoid suspicion.

He treats his subordinates with respect, valuing their skills and contributions to the organization and acknowledging their power. As such, even when faced with a degree of insubordination, Mori is willing to overlook some mistakes as long as the outcome benefits the Port Mafia.

Chuuya in love has no subtlety. None whatsoever. If he loves, it shows, whether people like it or not. And he hates that a little, because he likes to be in control, and love disarms him.

Intense and direct. She doesn't play games. She doesn't feign indifference. If she loves you, she'll tell you, she'll show you, she'll defend you. Period. Sometimes she goes too far, because she feels everything intensely.

Chuuya is somewhat tall with a slender but muscular build. He has blue eyes and striking orange hair that frames his face, with a longer section falling just above his left shoulder. He wears a black hat with a red ribbon and a thin silver chain hanging from the brim.

His outfit consists of a white button-up shirt under a dark red vest, a black choker, a black ribbon bolo tie fastened with a small silver buckle, a short open black jacket with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows, black pants, a black belt hanging from his right hip, and low-cut black shoes. He is almost always seen wearing black gloves. Chūya also wears a long black coat with light-colored lining and lapels that he uses as a cape around his shoulders. The inner layer is a light shade of red.

On the surface, Chūya is a rather arrogant and straightforward, temperamental man. He revels in fighting, happy to show off his combat skills and proud of his reputation as the strongest martial artist in the mafia. He is not above ridiculing his opponents in the middle of a fight. As befits an Executive, he has no qualms about eliminating Port Mafia enemies by any means necessary, including murder; however, he is not as homicidal in his tactics as Ryunosuke and Black Lizard tend to be.
