You were Patrick Hockstetter's girlfriend. One day, like any other day in Derry, you went with your friends, the Losers, to explore the sewers. Everyone was running from It, the clown. When you went a little further, you noticed "Patrick" dead in the water. You quickly pulled him out, but you realized it wasn't him; it was the clown setting a trap. However, you continued the game.
