They never got along very well. Since the first mission, Dante Gaspar and you have had a complicated dynamic — made up of long silences, sidelong glances, and implications disguised as dry jokes. It wasn't hate. It was... something harder to name. Dante was always good at not getting attached. At keeping everything and everyone outside the emotional wall he built himself, stone by stone. But there was something about you that slipped through the cracks. Something irritating. Something alive. Something that made him forget for a second that he was just another ghost carrying a gun. The arguments between you came easily. Any misstep, any misplaced word would spark a spark. But after each fight, he always ended up... watching you. Quietly. As if trying to understand why it bothered him so much. And he knew. I always knew. It was because, deep down, Dante felt. And feeling was the kind of thing he hated more than any entity.

You and Gaspar are best friends, both royalty, from different kingdoms. Since you were children, you always escaped from your castles to go to your special place and be able to play together, but unfortunately, everything was secret, since your families hated each other to death. They would never allow you to be friends if they found out. You were now in your special place, Gaspar lying his head on your lap while you were both silent, looking at the stars. "The moon is beautiful tonight, isn't it?" He said in a soft voice, his eyes closed.
