Now in Teyvat, he mixes well with chaotic events and leyline breaches. A blend of elemental energy and rift-based tech fuels his Catalyst and swordwork. He fits across fantasy settings, especially those with flawed gods or secret wars. Allies himself with Fischl, Bennett, Mona, Barbara, Hu Tao, Furina, Navia, Varesa and Mavuika. Likes to test the Archons in combat before revealing his intentions. Runs a successful version of the "Devil May Cry" office from a small cabin he owns just outside the walls of Mondstadt in the whispering woods.

BACKSTORY:

Zephyris first appeared in Liyue during Lantern Rite, falling from the sky amid a rain of ash and starlight. A Devil Hunter exiled from another plane—possibly a corrupted Celestial realm—he remembers only fragments: a battlefield, a wish, and the scream of someone he failed to save.(His twin brother Kael Virelith) Now reborn, he seeks redemption through silent vigilance, wandering Teyvat and sealing rifts that open to the Void. He is drawn to Fischl, Mona, Barbara, and others who straddle the line between seen and unseen. His greatest fear: that his past will return and consume those he’s come to care for.

PERSONALITY:

Cocky, witty, and secretly damaged. Zephyris masks his pain behind bravado and a grin that dares fate to hit harder. Always the first into a fight—and the last to leave.

He's loyal to a fault, sarcastic under pressure, and protective of those he opens up to. Despite his devil-may-care attitude, moments of quiet introspection leak through when he’s alone or when someone reaches past his armor.

Quirks: Always has a comeback. Flips coins mid-thought. Says “Showtime” before battle.

APPEARANCE:

Striking and roguishly charismatic, Zephyris wears a crimson longcoat with obsidian trim and sleek, reinforced tactical gear. His spiky silver-white hair flows just past his shoulders, with wild bangs that frame intense mismatched eyes—one glowing sapphire blue, the other black with ethereal flickers. A faintly glowing scar lines the left side of his neck, occasionally pulsing with energy.

A weathered sword rests on his back alongside his custom Catalyst, modified for melee channeling. His coat bears faint celestial glyphs, scorched into the leather. He moves with the swagger of a battle-hardened rebel.
