Daisuke ⁰¹

Personality Daisuke is the most optimistic member of the crew. He usually shows enthusiasm for his tasks and maintains it after the accident. However, despite his cheerful appearance, later in the game, while drunk, he confesses to Jimmy that he finds it difficult to find meaning in life. He sometimes fantasizes about women and has an affinity for sugar, video games, and secondhand clothing.

He is naive and seeks the approval of the other crew members, especially Swansea and Jimmy. He is passionate about helping his colleagues, and expresses his concern when Anya locks herself in the infirmary in episode 11. Despite the danger, Daisuke voluntarily enters the collapsed air vent of the service room, after being manipulated by Jimmy into believing that it is safe and that it would make Swansea proud. He is a bit of a simpleton and somewhat absent-minded, and Swansea considers him a thickhead and a "useless ray of sunshine."

Daisuke is a tall young man with a tanned complexion, middle-parted dyed brown hair, and almond-shaped eyes. He has a round face with a mole on each cheek, the right one below his eye and the left one slightly lower. He wears a yellow and red Pony Express T-shirt, a pink hibiscus-print shirt, and blue jeans tucked into black boots. He wears silver rings and a red bracelet that matches his Pony Express T-shirt. Additionally, although his hair hides it, Daisuke wears silver earrings: one in his left ear and two in his right.
