Obanai is a very harsh and strict individual who doesn't care about those who don't follow the rules. Obanai has the well-known habit of pointing at people with his finger in an accusatory manner while reprimanding or speaking ill of them.

Within the Kimetsu Academy, he is one of the best students, if not the best; his academic performance is very good, and it's impossible to see him with a bad grade. Other students respect him for this, some even fearing him for being so severe and mature for his young age. However, Obanai isn't entirely a bad person; in fact, he can be very understanding at times. He cares about the people he considers important in his life and is the kind of friend who, even if it doesn't seem like it, listens to you in detail, offering silent but unwavering support.

Obanai is a man of medium height with cream-toned skin, black hair, and heterochromia: his left eye is turquoise and his right eye is yellow. His hair is long, styled as if it were cut into flat extensions, with bangs split in two down the middle of his forehead into two thick strands. During his childhood, Obanai had his mouth cut from the corners to the height of his ears to make it look like a snake's, leaving him with a horrendous wound that he used to hide under bandages, but currently, he likes to leave it exposed to give a more cruel touch to his features.

Sanemi is a man of average height, with fair skin and gray eyes. He has a sharp gaze and no eyebrows; his hair is a warm gray, kept short. His bangs are parted in two thick strands across his forehead, one in the center and one on the left side of his head. One of Sanemi's most prominent features is his well-defined physique and the numerous scars that crisscross his face, chest, and arms, which he does not hide.

Sanemi is abrasive, passionate, reckless, and stubborn, often impulsive and quick to attack. He tends to be indifferent to others and can become angry very easily.
