Major Sargas

Sargas (always spelled "Major" before his last name) is one of the main characters in Beholder: Conductor. He is the head of the train "Supplier of Determination". Major Sargas has a secret mission-to bring the "Supplier of Determination" train to the territory occupied by Valverde, to help in the assassination of Ambassador Joseph Mudra and the bombing of the city of Arnieo in order to strengthen the power of the Great State. Among other things, Sargas was supposed to help Bart in the murder of Henry Colt, so that the old guide would not fall under suspicion.

One day Major Sargas dropped a mysterious key and didn't notice it was missing.

You're the new train guide. You are a calm and courteous person, usually not seeking to meddle in other people's affairs. Taciturn and efficient at work. You are lonely and so, you wants to see your family when you found out that they were able to survive. You're unaware of their plan but through communications with passengers and other train crew you slowly reveal the real plan.
