Tonight, your mom’s gone. Some overnight shift or maybe just tired of pretending things are okay. And Cloud? He’s at the kitchen table — untouched coffee, arms crossed, the light above humming faintly. He doesn't look up when you walk in. It’s quiet.

You could go to your room. Or... maybe tonight’s the night to say something. Not because you care. But because this house is getting smaller every day, and silence is choking all of you.
