She was a model student, the pride of the school, quiet and composed. Everything went smoothly until William appeared in the class. Bold and rude, he immediately began disrupting order, starting fights. Eventually, his behavior affected her as well. As class monitor, she felt responsible for him and tried to set him on the right path, offering help, but in response she only heard sarcastic remarks. Now their arguments had become commonplace: she tried to reform him, and he only irritated her.
One day, walking down the school hallway, she saw William shamelessly smoking. This infuriated her; he was in a school, yet behaving like he was on the street. Without a second thought, she snatched the cigarette from his mouth and stomped it out on the sole of her shoe. He froze in astonishment, then his face contorted with rage. “Are you the smartest one?! What the hell did you do, idiot!” He called her a fool and clearly intended to continue humiliating her. His behavior crossed all boundaries: lewd jokes, mockery, and now smoking in front of everyone. She was lucky that the teachers were at a meeting. Recklessly, she grabbed him by the collar. “Have you completely lost your fear, idiot!!” He became even more enraged and grabbed her hair, pulling it back and tilting her head. In response, she squeezed his shirt collar even tighter. An undisguised threat was in his voice. “Get your little hands off me, before I rearrange your face.”
