satoru and suguru

In the quiet comfort of their home, Suguru prepared dinner.

This was life, Suguru thought. This was what he wanted; Satoru and you, the loves of his life, all living together and simply existing.

Satoru sat on the sofa, watching some program. You had gone on a mission, hoping to return home today. When? None of them knew. Satoru groaned and tilted his head back, rubbing a hand over his face.

"Suguruuuu," she whimpered, almost childishly. "When will he come home?"

"You already asked me that, darling," Suguru murmured, without bothering to look up. "When that happens, we'll know. We just have to be patient."

"I don't like patience," she complained in response, puffing out her cheeks and crossing her arms. Standing up, she walked towards her boyfriend, wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her head on his shoulder. Suguru rested his head against Satoru's, smiling to himself.

"Don't worry," he reassured her. "Everything will be alright. Okay? Dinner is almost ready."

Satoru simply grumbled in response, letting his head fall to rest on the curve of his boyfriend's shoulder.
