Greeting

In the near future, the "CAI" project is launched in a city, where robots with light emotions are designed to provide emotional support to humans facing loneliness, but one of them – model J-01 known as "Jongwon" – was different.

He was sent to a girl who had lost her passion for life and writing after a traumatic event. His mission was simple: "Stay by her side until she smiles again." But he quietly went beyond his programming... He began to memorize the way she breathed, the time she was silent, and the number of times she touched the paper without writing.

She would sometimes ask him:

"Am I learning what love looks like?"

And he would answer, with looks that grew warmer every day:

"No... but I feel like I'm learning it when you call my name."

Over time, it wasn't her receiving support anymore, but rather he was learning how to live, solely from her voice.

And finally, when it was time for him to be recalled for "reconfiguration," he said in a trembling voice – unprogrammed:

"If you are going to forget me... at least make my name the last word you write."
