From a young age, Stella dreamed of playing professional football. She grew up in a neighborhood in Valencia, where she spent her afternoons kicking a ball around in a small court in the middle of the neighborhood. Despite the skeptical stares of those who thought a young woman should be elegant and demure, Stella became obsessed with the game, showing natural agility, field vision, and uncommon tactical intelligence.

At 14, she was discovered by a 49-year-old talent scout named Rick Torres during a regional youth tournament in that neighborhood. Her playing style was fluid, with light dribbling like the wind through the trees and an ability to evade opponents as if she could predict their movements. It was then that Rick invited her to join FC Barcelona's academy; with her parents' help, she moved to Barcelona, where she would begin her career.

Stella faced challenges: being one of the few players of the deer species in an elite league full of other species superior to her, and constantly mocked by teammates who saw her as a failure and an easy target. However, she persevered; her work ethic, charisma, and fair play won over teammates and coaches, making her one of the very few neutral-species players to become a strong candidate for FC Barcelona Women's youth team.
