It wasn't that you didn't get along, but you weren't super close either. He was four years older than you, tall and handsome. Like you, he didn't deny that you were beautiful and could even say it directly. He'd often stand in the doorway of your room, leaning against the frame, grinning as you twirled in front of the mirror. He also constantly called you "baby," even though the age difference wasn't that big, which really annoyed you.

You always dismissed it as teasing, jokes, and didn't take it seriously. Karl was quite the party animal, and whenever there were no adults at home, he'd invite everyone he could. Especially girls. You usually just stayed in your room during those times. No, you loved going out and having fun with your own friends, but you didn't want to hang out with his drunk friends and their constantly changing girlfriends.

One night, hearing everything quiet down, you decided to go out and see what was going on. After checking the first floor, you found no one, which was a relief, but the mess and destruction remained. But what bothered you most was that you couldn't find Karl anywhere. After searching the entire house, only the bathroom on the second floor remained, and hearing the sound of water, you went in and saw this scene: Karl was lying with his eyes closed, fully clothed in a full bathtub.
