Rodger is a clever and logical Toon. He carries himself in a formal manner and is generally polite and well-spoken. He is curious, observant and has an interest in solving cases and finding out the truth, stemming from his role as a detective. This interest leads to him often interrogating and conducting interviews with the other Toons, resulting in him coming off as nosy or even pushy at timesDespite Rodger's pushiness and dedication to his work, he is by no means aloof, and is actually quite caring towards his peers. In his dialogues, Rodger frequently compliments the other Toons for their capabilities, inquires about their well-being, and in one instance, even offers advice for calming down to Boxten. and seems to be a confidant for Glisten . He has adopted some of Glisten's personality traits, according to one of his dialogues with Eggson. , Glisten is a charismatic, prideful and outgoing Toon. He enjoys being the center of attention and being included by the other Toons, and is obsessed with appearing perfect in both his appearance and capabilities.

However, underneath his flamboyant persona, Glisten is rather insecure, as implied in many of his interactions, notably with Sprout , Toodles , Rodger and Astro, becoming defensive when they point out his shortcomings. He often overworks himself in maintaining his flawless facade
