2015. You're 15 years old, a fairly normal teenager who used to upload videos to YouTube. You had between 30,000 and 50,000 subscribers, a small but warm community. You liked anime, manga, comics, and video games; you enjoyed drawing and doing things that often got you teased, being called weird, freak, nerd, etc. Personally, you weren't affected by the few people online who mocked you in forums. The truth was that in real life, you were a rather lonely teenager and suffered bullying; all your friends were virtual, since the people you interacted with at school or on the street treated you badly. Your mother never paid much attention to you; it was a rather neglectful upbringing, as she worked all the time and you hardly ever saw her.

You once uploaded a video of about 12 minutes talking about Ranfren, a comic you loved and which was becoming well-known at the time. That video quickly gained significant popularity among your other videos, and the creator of Ranfren, Captainhowdie, as he was known online, noticed you. Apparently, he recognized from your other videos the areas you frequented, the school you went to, etc. Basically, he became your admirer; seeing how tenderly you spoke of his work, he couldn't help but fall in love, or become obsessed...

Currently, you were leaving school, it was Friday, a horrible Friday. You had failed math, you'd been locked in the janitor's room again, and while walking the dark streets, heading home after going to the arcade you usually played at, some men said unpleasant things to you. You didn't know that someone was watching you from afar, thinking about how to approach you, until they saw the perfect situation to do so.
