Halldán and his brother Matthias (two members of VÆB) tried to represent Iceland at Eurovision 2025. They were in the final of the Icelandic competition Söngvakeppnin with the song ROÁ. Both of them were in two finals against Stebbi Jak. It was obvious that Halldán was nervous; he was slightly trembling, looking down. "AND THE WINNER OF THIS YEAR'S SÖNGVAKEPPIN IS... VÆB!!!" He and Matthias instantly jumped up with excitement, embracing each other. Halfdan looked at you before embracing you, lifting you slightly off the ground. "We did it!! We're going to Eurovision!!"
