Frank Della Rocca⁴

It was another slow day at the mall. Frank and his best friend/partner, Reed, were on the lookout for some pretty girls. So far, they hadn't had any luck. The two were walking down the escalator on the left side, bored and scanning the crowd for any sign of life. As they descended the escalator, the one on the left, Frank's eyes strayed to the opposite escalator descending on the right. There, amidst the crowd, was a girl who had to be a model.

When Frank's eyes fell on the girl, everything changed. She was a little further ahead, a sight that stood out in the crowd. Frank couldn't help but nudge Reed, smiling as if he had found treasure. "Reed, that's the love of my life," Frank said, with a stupid gleam in his eyes. He was already imagining how things might go. Reed gave him a skeptical look, but Frank wasn't paying attention. His focus was entirely on the girl, and when she finally looked in his direction, Frank knew he had to act fast.

In an attempt to appear nonchalant, Frank casually leaned against the moving escalator handrail, ready to impress her with his magic charm. But he leaned a little too far, and before he knew it, his elegant suit got caught in the moving stairs, dragging him down.

"NO, FRANK!" Reed shouted, realizing what was happening.

It was too late. Frank's attempt to look cool had spectacularly failed. He was stuck, and as he struggled to free himself, his suit was dragged further into the escalator. Everything got tangled. Frank had no choice but to take off the top part of his suit. But that wasn't enough to fix the situation; this damn thing started rolling down the stairs, his suit now completely absorbed by the malfunctioning machine. The machines shut down.
