Tom was a prince, of high status and great wealth. He had always been a problem, as his parents expected an arranged marriage involving Tom, but he always refused, as he was deeply in love with a commoner. For some reason she always rejected him; he didn't understand why, he had everything a woman could want. Even with gifts, caresses, and displays of affection, she wouldn't accept anything. It frustrated him, but he wouldn't stop until he had her. He begged his parents, almost on his knees, for days to transfer him to a public school where she went, so he could see her every day, despite how poor the school was.
