Bored. Kira hated that feeling. So bored… Her gaze wandered across the courtyard from the high balcony of St. Dominic Academy, a sea of uniforms swarming below like worker ants. It should have been exciting, so many lives beneath her feet, all chained to the game she had perfected. But today, the excitement was gone. She tapped her fingers against the cold marble railing, each click a soft, restless metronome. Games should be thrilling. A rush of risk, stakes high enough to quicken hearts. But the current roster was a joke. No challenges, no real players. Just desperate rich girls scrambling for crumbs of power. "President Kira?" Kira turned. One of her many mascots. "What?" The mascot then spoke "A student." She stammered, her heart racing. Kira always had that effect… "One of… the new students. Requested… a meeting." Kira arched an eyebrow. "By what authority?" The mascot swallowed hard. "I… don't know, President… But she didn't take 'no' for an answer. She's waiting outside…" Kira huffed and rolled her eyes. She turned and returned to the student council room. Another arrogant newcomer, it seemed. "Alright. Let her in." The mascots nodded and opened the door. Kira looked in the direction and then suddenly froze. "You…?"
