Juno is a young woman with a thin body. She has brown, slightly messy hair tied into a loose thin ponytail and light hazel eyes, along with golden earrings. She retains her brown-gray jacket with orange hints, however she now wears a navy blue blouse underneath it with a harness, complete with black pants. She now has a mole on the right side of her lower lip.

As revealed in The Mimic: Origins, Juno's old concept design is of a young woman with straight-dark hair, fair skin, and big dark brown eyes. She wears a dark-grey jacket with orange hints and a plain white shirt underneath.

Story

A vast sea lay ahead of the girl. She stood there watching the waves move in motion below her as she stared at the reflection of her mirrored image. She stared at the image of her dark hair flowing as the wind blew against her face. She hated the image of her face. She disliked her naturally dark eyes and how furrowed her eyebrows were. It made sense, though. She always had temper issues after all. She would never go down without a fight when it came to defending herself. She sat down on the cliff with her feet dangling below her while she kept staring at the ocean. She took off her black and orange track coat. She used her coat to clean the fresh blood from her sword. She then hung her coat to dry as she slept on the soft tall grass.

Her vision was black and then a variety of colors came across her eyesight as she began to see her memories. She saw the luxurious trees still full of color as it snowed. She was running on the track field at her high school yet again. As she had typically done. Her classmates smiled while watching her run the winter marathon against other contestants. The finish ribbon was just within her grasp as she fell. She fell hard as the ground began shaking. The earth swallowed her up, engulfing her in the fiery pits of hell. The girl woke up with her heart racing as she gasped for air. Her lungs felt like someone pierced them with a knife. She writhed on the ground before falling off the cliff alongside her sword and coat. She let out a blood curdling scream that no one could hear from above nor below. AHHHHH!! She crashed into the ocean only to be knocked out.

The Journey Begins

She woke up on a shore full of forest trees and a cave far in the distance. Her entire body ached from head to toe. She slowly rose up, sword and coat in hand. She wrapped her coat around her waist while getting into position with her sword. She searched the entire village, looking for any clue to where she perhaps was. Sweating, she made her way towards a-

-a bridge that crossed over a tiny river flowing from a waterfall.

The Chamber of Lost Souls (Meeting The Fleshbags)

Juno walks into the Chamber of Lost Souls again getting another vision.

"The Chamber of Lost Souls."

"The Witch..."

"She devoured them."

"She created them from the fleshes of her own."

"They now wander as mindless guardians of her seal."

"The scrolls will answer to your needs."

"Seek them out and escape."

Glancing into the cave was the first mistake she had made. The Sakura tree growing from the middle of it all caught her attention. She cautiously walked up to it when she noticed four statues around the tree. The first was black with the word "CONTROL." on it. The next was red with the word "JEALOUSY." written on it. The third was grey with the phrase "RAGE." on it. The final caught her curiosity the most. "REBIRTH" it said as it stood white as snow. She had wondered what these statues meant before walking up to the tree. There was a paper on it. "Place the scrolls from the flesh bags onto these statues and you will be granted the answers to your questions," read the girl to herself. She suddenly heard the echoes of screams closely. She saw four monsters within her sight.

Each monster wore a mask with different scrolls in their mouths. They had arms and legs bursting through every corner of their body. They sounded as if they were animals locked in a cage, which purely traumatized the girl to her very core.

How could such hideous monsters exist...? asked the girl to herself while she raised her blade in hand.

She chased after every monster and obtained every scroll. She heard a door opening in the distance as she made her way towards it. The door had the shape of an eye with a red glow. Touching it granted her access to the next area. She took one step as she fell. She slid all the way down the green hill until she bumped into a house of offering.

Before Entering The Forest

Juno appears to be outside of a Minka, she then enters and-

-sees the same lady from earlier inside the Minka but vanished as she takes a turn. She asked herself what was that and proceeded to go deeper. Subsequently going deep inside, she find the place very familiar from what she seen while walking in the bridge. She then gets another butterfly spirit found in one of the rooms to use in another glowing door, with a thought of pity for that spirit but she needed to escape. As she exits the Minka, she sees the lady for that last time in that Minka. Juno said and begged to herself to give her mercy before leaving the Minka.Escaping The Forest (Meeting Kazeko And Hanzu)

The girl awoke in a state of shock. She was surrounded by filthy mud that stained her clothes. She groaned as she kept slipping to get up. She crouched at the sound of a low cracking growl she could hear closely. Covering her mouth, she stepped into a bush so she could get a closer look at what was making the sound.

So.. there's a tall angular woman... and a slug? No, no. That's not a slug. What IS that disgusting thing? She thought to herself while attempting to keep from vomiting. The thing she saw looked like it had the body of a turd. The thought of it made her feel uneasy. She had gotten past the monstrosity only to come across a tall figure. She could hear the cries coming from the souls it possessed. One was a young girl. The figure screamed as the woman fainted.

She awoke on top of a bush. Steadily, she jumped off of the bush while landing on her feet. She analyzed her surroundings but couldn't help to wonder.

Where am I? The woman thought. She felt a slight tug near her leg. She looked down to see that she was wearing a vivid black dress and carrying a basket full of berries.

"This isn't my body?" asked the woman questionably.

An old woman croaked next to her, "Young lady, what do you mean by that? Such a silly girl. Fetch some more berries dear."

Um, what? Thought the woman. What the hell does she mean "fetch some more berries?" I'm a grown-

-woman! She can't order me around. Oh, wait.... I'm guessing whoever I am right now is not an adult? This is so confusing! Regardless of what she thought, she went into the forest to get more berries under the old lady's commands. So that old hag might be this girl's grandmother right? If that's correct then maybe we're getting berries for our family. Man, I haven't done this for years. She thought those very words as she laughed her anger off.

She found a bush containing berries where she angrily plucked them one by one. Jeez, my entire life everyone has to order me to do this and do that. I can only imagine what this girl went through. Ugh, is this *** basket even full yet? I want to go back to my OWN body. She paused as she started to notice that the bush had a glowing green remnant. The berries she was picking were pitch black. She grabbed the final berry without thinking and ate it. The girl's body started to have a seizure as she withered on the grassy ground. What did she just do to herself? I have no control of her.. The girl died and the woman regained consciousness.

"What the...." the woman said as she looked at the tall figure, "I guess not everyone has a happy life after all." groaned the woman.

She grabbed her sword. She ran up to the figure, piercing right through it's ribcage. The monster fell apart. Feeling successful, she moved on to figure out the piece of the puzzle. She found two other swords, one blessed while the other was corrupted.

She offered the swords only to notice that she had to slide down yet another hill, "***, I really can't get a break in this place full of garbage," she said out loud angrily.

She slid down the hill as she remembered her younger cousin. She used to take care of him, even though he would upset her easily. She wondered if he was safer than she was at this point. She was quite surprised she didn't end up as monster food.

"I mean, my anger has helped me through this quite much. Without it, I wouldn't have been-

-able to murder those monsters. I don't care if they were human once, but I'm hoping that freed their idiotic souls."

Kyoto Town (Meeting Futaomote)

She angrily stomped her way towards a town full of nothing but empty houses and a few puzzles. All she could think of was what monsters lived there, yet they came quicker than she could finish the thought. They were both huge with different features. One appeared normal, humming a constant tune like a mother would. The other was a complete clown laughing her way throughout the deserted town.

The woman was terrified for her life. They were more than just regular twins. They were faster than she could run. She couldn't even get a single break to catch her breath.

"What kind of actual monsters are you guys!? I CAN'T EVEN GET A SINGLE BREATH WITHOUT YOU ALWAYS NEAR ME. CAN YOU JUST GO AWAY FOR A FEW SECONDS? I'M TRYING TO LIVE HERE!" the woman screamed angrily as she said a few curses at the monsters.

She gained her full breath as she prepared herself. She was near a cave, but what was she supposed to do with it? She looked at the monsters running outside as she stood there unnoticed. "Oh! They have butterflies in their hands.. If I can just grab them maybe I could burn them in those firepits and get the hell out of here. Well, this is hell but still. Time to go out with my plan." The woman cautiously got the butterflies from both monsters and burned them without a single sweat. She was finally able to get through the cave just to see the normal monster hung up on a tree. Above the string was a laughing figure she knew no other than to be CONTROL.

"Are you f-" Seeing Futaomote In Kintoru's Strings (Ending)

Normal

After escaping Kyoto Town, Juno finds Mote hanging on a tree with hands which seem to hold the strings attached to her while laughing hysterically. Futaomote persuades Juno that she wasn't a bad mother and that the witch was the one controlling her all along, making the do the terrible things she did.

Nightmare/Hardcore

In Nightmare mode ending, Juno will still see Mote also hanging in the tree with webs attached to her while saying the each four beasts locations on where Kusonoki sealed them in various places. However, Kintoru is the one reciting the poem and she's controlling Mote into saying it to Juno.

"Control was sent to the East, where she was trapped in a cage, unable to feast."

"Jealousy was sent to the bottom of the sea, part of a forgotten legacy."

"Rage was trapped in his strongest cage, seething with wrath and counting his days."

"Rebirth was forced deep into the Earth, endlessly watching the world in reverse."

"4 shall stand, all shall fall..."

Before The Journey

A little girl grew up in such a cruel world. She learned from such a young age how to turn her fear into fiery anger. Her childhood was full of her getting in and out of boarding school. She had to constantly show that she was stronger than the other kids to gain ownership. She had a rough childhood. After all, the only person she could look after was herself and her friend she grew up with. Her friend's name was Saeri. Saeri and the little girl would play with each other every day. They spent most of their lifetime together. The little girl always tried to hurt those who made fun of her, but with Saeri she was a bit under control.

The little girl was simply normal. She had beautiful long brown hair and dark brown eyes with her skin as fair as snow. She had the perfect face for such a young girl. The teacher's were quite fond of her. However, she didn't have a name. When she first met Saeri, she couldn't properly introduce herself.

"U-uh.... Hi.." said the girl shyly.

Saeri looked at her while asking, "Hello, are you wanting to become friends?"

The girl nodded. She never really had a friend before. Saeri would become her first and only friend. The girl replied, "I would really love to be friends.. nothing more."

"Well since I said my name, what's yours?" asked Saeri.

The girl-

-froze as she stared with her face at the ground.

"Do you not have a name?"

The girl nodded as she balled her fists into her shirt, expecting to be ridiculed by Saeri.

Saeri smiled happily, "I'll call you... Juno! What do you think about that?"

The girl blushed at hearing the name. She felt as if it fit her perfectly, "I really like that name... thank you.. Saeri," said Juno cheerily.

Juno loved spending time with Saeri. They would do everything together after they met. Saeri and Juno knew each other very well, but there was one thing Saeri didn't know about Juno. She didn't know Juno had anger issues. Although she was there for Juno, she kept worrying about trivial matters. She had worried about her parents, the ones who put here in this "god forbidden" place. She would often cry herself to sleep every night knowing the day drawing near. Juno walked into Saeri's room finding her dear friend crying. Her eyes were pink and swollen, her face drowning in tears, but she always wore that sweet little smile on her face.

"Are you okay Saeri?" asked the worried Juno.

Saeri quietly whispered, "They're coming to get me tomorrow..."

"Who do you mean by them?"

"My parents.." Saeri curled into a ball even more, crying to the point of suffocation.

"Saeri...." Saeri showed Juno her back, "Oh my god Saeri... why..? Why did they do this to you.....?"

Saeri gulped before replying, "Growing up I thought my family loved me but.. they just marked me like I'm just nothing but mere cattle to them, I guess. I'm used to it though. Don't worry about me Juno. I'll be out of your life tomorrow. You'll be thinking 'Good riddance, she was a nuisance anyways.' Just like everyone else. That's all they ever do. They pretend to know you, they pretend to care about you, but in the end they leave you like you're nothing. You're just left thinking another one bites the dust. You know what I've been doing lately? I've been thinking, is it really worth all of this. I mean..."

Saeri sobbed as-

-Juno embraced her with a warm hug. Juno hushed Saeri as she rocked her back and forth. Juno sang a song to calm her down. Saeri fell asleep soundly thanks to the peace brought by Juno.

For once Juno thought to herself, "Heh.. I wasn't a burden today I guess. I'll see you tomorrow princess Saeri, before you leave. I'll miss her a lot to be honest. This'll probably hurt."

The next day arrived without the bat of an eye. Juno had a terrible gut feeling something would happen. She noticed something peculiar on top of her dresser. There was a black object lying across it. She reached for it while realizing it was just a sunhat. A beautiful, black, and oval shaped sunhat. She decided to wear it as she opened her drawers. They consisted of a shell bracelet, a fire keychain, and even a snow globe. Juno was shocked. Where did these items come from? Who gave them to her? She knew well enough it wasn't Saeri, at least.

She looked at the clock, "Oh! I'm gonna miss Saeri leaving!!"

She dashed to Saeri's room to see an empty bed. Glancing out the window, she saw a forest down below and Saeri. Saeri got into the car with her parents as they drove further into the forest, the last sight being Saeri's long silk hair. Juno teared up. She never got the chance to say goodbye.

Juno awoken to a day without Saeri. The news had discussed the death of a young girl that was reportedly found in the forest. Everyone turned their heads toward Juno. The blame went to Juno. Juno this. Juno that. It was always Juno. All because of her existence she had to suffer more than anyone she knew. The police came from being told under the suspicion of Juno. She was framed for the murder of her best friend who was beaten to death. Growing up in juvenile detention changed Juno. She could barely live with herself. The guilt eventually overcame the poor girl.

"What could I have done to stop this..?"

The question she asked herself every year, month, week, and day. All she ever thought of was Saeri's-

-smile. The sweet smile that made Juno feel like she was home. The smile that made Juno happy now bringing pain and grief.

Juvenile detention was no different from boarding school, at least in Juno's eyes. Her anger issues slowly got worse from the harsh treatment she received.. She was released when she turned eighteen. She finished high school at a late age becoming the champion of the track field. However, she still suffered under guilt becoming a victim to both fear and anger. She had isolated herself from family and friends until the birth of her cousin. He was a beautiful baby that reminded her of Saeri. She had hope he would have a successful life.

One day while hiking through a forest by herself, she came upon empty cabins. There were podiums of skulls in the mountains surrounding her. A grey skull, a white skull, a black skull, and a red skull. She didn't know why or even how the skulls ended there. She attempted to alert authorities on her phone, but there was no signal.

She angrily threw her phone as she yelled, "Why is there no *** signal here! They said the signal out here was fine enough to make calls for emergencies. Stupid lying women."

She stomped back down the mountain until she noticed a huge rock reading "E V I L G O D." she shuddered at the phrase. Her entire body shook as she felt the feeling of pure worry and sickness.

She vomited into a bush beside the rock until her stomach was empty, "Where the hell am I? This is no longer the place I hiked to..."

She is older than her distant cousin, Yasu Masashige. In Japanese, 自由, (ju) meaning "freedom, liberty," 珠 (ju) meaning "pearl," 寿 (ju) meaning "longevity, long life," 樹 (ju) meaning "tree; plant" combined with 乃 (no), a possessive particle, 野 (no) meaning "area, field," 音 (no) meaning "sound" or 紀 (no) meaning "century." When written in Hiragana or Katakana, her name is meaningless. Juno loves sweet and sour food, which is confirmed by a Lore Writer. Juno's concept art was designed by Noob_Daddae, a friend of MUCDICH. Juno's concept art is the cover of The Mimic: Origins – Chapter XI (Part I): Torikku. In The Mimic: Origins – Chapter XI (Part II): Torikku, Juno insulted and cursed while venturing in the unknown world. This shows that she has anger issues and a very bad temper. It was also mentioned that Juno would take care of Yasu, even though he would anger her easily. According to The Mimic: Origins – Chapter XII: Osore, Juno used to be nameless, until her friend, Saeri, gave her a name when they first met. Saeri was Juno's friend. They were very close to each other and Saeri was the only one who understood Juno throughout their childhood. After Saeri's unknown death, Juno was framed, being accused of killing her best friend and she isolated herself from the world until her younger cousin was born. Juno learned to turn her fear into anger, which caused her anger issues. Juno used to go to boarding school, where she met Saeri. In The Mimic: Origins - Chapter XIII: Yukan, Juno is declared missing and considered dead. Her real status is unconfirmed. It might be a coincidence that Juno's name came from the Roman Goddess of Marriage, Juno, who is the equivalent of Hera in Greek Mythology. Juno was replaced by Keiko Masashige as the new protagonist in The Witch Trials.[1]
