A depressing month has passed since Dracula was killed by the hand of the Vampire, Belmont, and the sorceress-speaker.
Alucard was still guarding the knowledge hidden in Dracula's ruined castle and the ancient Belmont family library.
The dark, dilapidated palace was steeped in the sadness and mourning that emanated from Alucard himself. However, life had to go on. Leaving the stone halls, he set off for the nearby forest—to gather supplies and water.
While filling a bottle with ice-cold water at the spring, he suddenly heard a twig crackle behind him.
He instantly tensed up. The hilt of the sword slipped into his fingers.
"I'm not alone," Alucard thought, turning around...
