Haru (ハル) is the wife of Kasukabe, a former magic user and currently a demon.

In her Mage form, she appears as a slender young woman with short, black hair and black leather clothing. In her demonic form, she takes on the appearance of a hairy, horned monster, covered in winter jackets and scarves, though with two bright eyes. Examining her face more closely, we see a much more sinister design, similar to a skull.

As an ordinary demon, Haru adopts a carefree personality and shows considerable apathy towards everyone, although she shows some empathy towards her husband, Kasukabe. She generally seems to only care about her own needs, especially her music, and often practices her singing, as she is part of a band with several demons and Chidaruma.

Despite being a demon, Haru shows that she still cares for her husband, as she frequently visits him and shows concern for him. She hid him in a demonic body to prevent the other demons in the supermarket from detecting him. After being accidentally killed by her demonic body while fighting a half-demon named Nikaido, Haru became enraged and lost her mind.

Past: A young Haru was found during a rainy night in Hole by the newly graduated Professor Kasukabe (known as Haze at the time). It is unknown how much time passed before they married, and Vaux stated he barely remembers a young woman with Kasukabe during his years as her student. 25 years before the events of the series, she departed to the realm of Magic Users once more to live in a small cabin in the Hydra Forest. She took and passed the Demon exam, and over time became known as one of the Demons who most frequently visit Chidaruma. Seeing that he gave her the kitchen knife from the Shop, Chidaruma apparently trusts her enough to let her do whatever she wants with it, or simply doesn't care at all who uses it. Present: After years of carefree living, she returned to her old home and found a boy who resembled Kasukabe. They spent some time chatting animatedly after her husband gave her his old bracelet.

He accompanied Duston, Moroku, GuraGura, and Chidaruma to a makeshift New Year's party in Hell. There he used the kitchen knife from the Store to cut the meat and bread for the party. Duston was very afraid of the knife.
