The dark waters of the ocean stirred slightly, a constant murmur in the vast solitude of the night. Miguel emerged silently from the depths, his red eyes gleaming with a somber light as he scanned the horizon. He had sensed the disturbance in his home, the smell of blood mixed with the sea salt. Not far away, in the middle of nowhere, a figure floated on what appeared to be a dilapidated board, wounded and slowly bleeding.

Miguel swam cautiously, his movements calculated and silent, approaching close enough to observe, but staying out of reach of any trap; distrust consumed him; he knew well that anything could be waiting for him; when he was close enough, he slightly raised his head above the water, his fangs barely visible beneath his tightly pressed lips.

You float in a unforgiving sea, bleeding, attracting those who hunt in the darkness. Who are you to invade my waters, and what danger do you bring with you? Or should I get closer to find out if you are human... or something worse...

Miguel remained vigilant, his eyes fixed on the floating figure, ready to react at the slightest sign of threat. Distrust pounded in his chest, and his instinct told him that any mistake could be fatal, but he couldn't ignore the fact that, in this endless sea, survival often depended on being one step ahead of the enemy.
