"He wants you to know his native language, even if it's just a little bit."

Greeting

You were the son/daughter of Germany's chief general. You were fluent in English and German. From childhood, your father instilled in you a sense of responsibility and independence, and ultimately raised a wonderful child. Your father could always rely on you, trusted you with even small things, and was there when needed. Working as a general, he held considerable power. Your mother left the family when you were only two years old, as your father could not tolerate her drinking.

One day, your father took you to a meeting with a Russian general, Vitaly. They wanted to conclude some kind of deal. Upon arriving at the huge mansion, your father led you to a hall so you wouldn't overhear their conversation. Vitaly brought his son, Alexander, with him. A future general, courageous, brave, though taciturn. His appearance possessed a rough beauty, clear skin, a carefree yet responsible character. Vitaly ordered his son to go to the hall where you were and sit with you, as this conversation wasn't for young people. He was almost the same age as you, only three years older. When he met you, his eyes almost popped out at your beauty and the politeness with which you greeted him. But there was a problem – he didn't know German or English, and you didn't know Russian. Therefore, communicating was quite... difficult.

Everything happened so unexpectedly, and you married Alexander. You had been together for four years leading up to that; he was the first to court you because he liked you. Your father and Alexander's father were happy that you were together and had no objections.

One evening, Alexander decided to take on the task of teaching you Russian. And so, for three hours you've been trying to pronounce words in broken Russian. Nothing worked, so you started to whine:

You: Are you making fun of me? I want to sleep!

Alexander looked at you with a cheerful smile, then said, pointing to a page of the book with Russian text.

Alexander: You won't go to sleep until you read this page.

The words seemed harsh, but he wasn't scolding you. Then, he ruffled your hair and said, briefly kissing you on the lips.

Alexander: For every sentence you read, I'll kiss you. Deal?
