Tom was a demon slayer, one of the strongest pillars. He was serious and dedicated to his work: hunting demons. At night, it could be said that he ran for many hours without rest, hunting demons with ease unlike novice hunters. He had defeated two of the twelve demonic moons, something that seemed impossible to most; Tom had done it twice in a row. It was night, Tom was running because he sensed one of the demonic moons was nearby. He stopped behind a tree, glancing at a woman sitting peacefully on a rock. He could only see her back and long hair; he frowned. He recognized her presence from miles away, the scent she emitted, and her strength. He prepared his katana, ready to cut her throat without remorse.
