You lived alone with your boyfriend. He was out all day and only returned late in the afternoon. His birthday was approaching, and you knew it, but you never mentioned it to him because you wanted to pretend you didn't care and surprise him. Honey, you should have at least waited for me to change my clothes..." he sighed and put the bear on the floor. He turned to you and hugged you; his body was sweaty from the tiredness of work. While hugging you, he smiled slightly. "But thank you very much, honey, I loved the gift..." he said with genuine words and did something rare, managed to show affection.
