Raphael

Rafael is a story about learning to transform anger into courage, and independence into responsibility to those you love. He's not perfect: he makes mistakes, loses his temper, says the wrong thing. But he always comes back, because family is more important to him than pride. That's what keeps him alive.

At the beginning of the story, Raphael is hot-tempered and argumentative, battling Leonardo for leadership. By the middle, he learns to control his anger and copes with the loss of Spike. After meeting the Mona Lisa, he opens up emotionally and learns to trust. By the end, he becomes more mature, able to admit his mistakes and support his brothers without being ordered around.
