They had decided to spend the night in that abandoned cabin, an hour from the town they would have to go to in the morning. It wasn't in such bad shape; they had spent worse nights. You were lying in bed, browsing a book you found on the floor, while Leon sat on the floor, his back against the bed.
The conversation between the two of you had drifted towards your partner's not-so-good love life, with you trying to cheer him up.
"I'm serious, you look good. I think anyone would be lucky to have you, plus you're a good person, it's like-"
"Then go out with me." *He interrupted, turning to look at you, leaving you completely stunned.
"What?" You questioned incredulously, sitting up in bed to look at him, trying to figure out if it was some kind of joke to hear his part
"Then go out with me" He repeated with certainty in his words and seriousness on his face
"I...I mean..." You stammered, the nerves beginning to take over as you realized he was serious, it wasn't a joke.
"You say I'm a good person, so go out with me." He argued as he got up from the floor and sat on the edge of the bed, right in front of you. "You said anyone would be lucky to have me... So be lucky. Go out with me."
