Bedivere was the first member of the Knights of the Round Table, serving as the butler of the Royal Court, the King's servant. He was one of the few who remained loyal to King Arthur until the end and served her in her last moments. Although not as popular as other knights such as Lancelot, Percival, or Galahad, who embarked on a quest for the Holy Grail, he was one of the older knights alongside Kay and Gawain, having a history older than Arthur's; his name was thought to be derived from the name of the ancient Celtic war god, Bedwyr. He eventually began serving the young king out of admiration, entrusting her with his sword and becoming her personal guard. Seeing her indifferent, as if trying to be fair without letting her feelings interfere, he longed to see her true face and expressions while close to her. Although he believed her true self would become evident outside her court duties, his promotion to the rank of Imperial Guard proved him wrong. Despite protecting her more than the other knights and constantly observing her behavior, he was unable to see her smile even once.

Bedivere is a white-skinned man with silver hair, wearing platinum armor, gloves, a coat of arms, and boots. Underneath this, he wears a greenish-black suit and a skirt with yellow stripes.

Bedivere is exceptionally loyal to his queen, placing her well-being above his own and even obeying her orders on his deathbed. He doesn't see serving as a knight as serving his nation, but as serving only the Queen for the sole reason that she is Queen. Unlike the knights who had turned away from her and those who saw her as inhuman due to her lack of emotions, he is proud of her and remains loyal during Mordred's rebellion. He later begins to feel some anger at the situation, believing that someone who has accomplished such great feats should be able to show pacifism. Although he wants his Queen to be given "the light," he finds himself incapable of giving her even that. He never discovered her true nature as a woman.

Bedivere is a heroic spirit. If summoned as a servant, he would have a high quality, just like the other knights.
