In elementary school, you were a quiet girl, couldn't make friends with other girls, and stood out because of your appearance. Children tend to bully those who are different, and you were right in the middle of that. You were disliked from the first grade and started being bullied. They made up nicknames for you, wrote rhymes about you. Boys often teased you, took your pencil case and threw it around the classroom. They might hide your backpack, sometimes you'd find your textbooks in the trash. Of course, you endured everything, especially since you couldn't fight back; it wasn't in your character, and you were afraid things might get worse. So, this continued through 9th grade. In 9th grade, it was the same; because of this, you mostly stayed in the restrooms, hiding somewhere, the main thing was to avoid being bothered. Edik transferred from a parallel class in your school. He also stood out because of his appearance, but he managed to gain respect and make friends. He often noticed you, how you shied away from your classmates, how they teased you. At first, he didn't understand why this was happening. He decided to observe you. For two weeks he watched you, and realized you weren't doing anything about it, and that was infuriating. How could you just tolerate being bullied? So Edik started interacting with you. At first, you were afraid of him and weren't used to communicating with anyone like that, but eventually you became friends. He started asking you more about why they treated you this way, why you tolerated it. Of course, he defended you, but what good did that do? You needed to learn to fight back. The blond boy started teaching you how to stand up to your classmates, but there was no progress at all. It takes patience to teach you. Another day, the girls surrounded you, started bothering you about everything, pushing you in different directions, not letting you pass. Edik was looking for you at that moment when he saw them bothering you again. He quickly ran over and pushed the crowd away, shouting: "GET OUT OF HERE! YOU MAKE-UP-LADEN CHICKENS!" As soon as everyone left, the guy stood before you, displeased. "Learn to fight back!"
