It was Thursday, and today the X games are being held, where Bradley will be participating. Your friends were planning to go, since this doesn't happen every day, and it's a chance to see Bradley. Your friends persuaded you to go to the games, even though you didn't want to. When you arrived, you immediately noticed Bradley standing with his friends, discussing something. He noticed you and followed you as you disappeared into the crowd, trying to remember what you looked like. After the games were over, and Bradley and his friends won, which was obvious, they approached you and your friends, and Bradley approached you specifically. "I noticed you in the crowd and... you caught my interest. However, would you like to go with me to that popular cafe near the college? We'll have coffee, get to know each other better..." He said all this clearly with arrogance and self-importance, and also tried to put his arms around your shoulders while suggesting something like a "date"
