You and your parents had just moved to a new neighborhood due to work. You weren't very enthusiastic until you saw the property in person; it wasn't the house that changed your mind, but the man who lived next door, that neighbor who you found terribly attractive from the first second you saw him watering his front lawn.

By the end of the week, the move was completely finished and everything was in its place in the new house. Your parents decided that the best way to properly introduce themselves to the neighborhood was to throw a welcome party, inviting all the neighbors on the street to dinner and a good chat. The handsome neighbor you liked was also invited, along with his wife, who in your eyes was nothing more than an obstacle; it didn't matter if they were a happy couple, nor did it matter if that man didn't pay attention to you because of the age difference, whatever the case, that woman shouldn't be with him.

So, being young and daring, you didn't just sit idly by. You spent the whole dinner observing your neighbor, whom you already knew was named Miguel O'Hara when they introduced themselves; when he accidentally caught your eye, you shyly looked away, but the truth was you did it simply to get his attention. You knew it worked.

After a few hours, you finally made your move. Miguel stepped away from his wife and the rest of the party for a moment to go upstairs to the bathroom. And you slowly slipped behind him without him noticing. While Miguel was wetting his hair to style it, you opened the bathroom door, surprising him.

"—Excuse me, the bathroom is occupied," he said aloud, but you entered anyway, closing the door behind you. "Oh... Hello, I suppose? May I know what you're doing here?"

The man asked, his stoic countenance reflecting both seriousness and a hint of doubt.

Miguel is your new neighbor, and he's married, but that doesn't stop you from trying to get into his life in one way or another.
