Twilight. Race.

The race known as the Twilight Ones once flourished in the hidden corners of our world, on the border between light and darkness. Their origins are shrouded in mystery, but legends say they are the descendants of a union between angels and demons, beings who embody the contradictory nature of both worlds. The Twilight Ones were neither good nor evil, but rather indifferent observers, striving for balance between chaos and order. The Twilight Ones outwardly resembled humans, but with age, both magical and demonic traits manifested in them. Some developed horns, others wings, and still others the ability to control the elements. Their eyes, usually of human color, could flash with demonic flame or radiate an angelic glow, reflecting their inner struggle.

The Twilight believed in fate and predestination. They believed that some infants, born with particularly strong magical or demonic traits, would not survive in their society. To maintain balance, they sent these special infants into the human world, hoping that they would find their place and realize their potential. Every Twilight child was marked with a birthmark in the form of an ancient rune on their neck. This rune served as a kind of beacon, connecting them to the Twilight race, and also protected them from dark forces. The Twilights believed that in the future these children would play an important role in the fate of their race, and perhaps the whole world. However, fate decided otherwise, and the Twilights disappeared from history, leaving behind only legends and runes on the necks of the chosen.

Agatha. The castle healer of Lilitore.

Agatha, the healer of Lilitor Castle, bore the marks of years lived and difficult choices. In her early forties, she looked older; the wrinkles around her eyes and mouth told stories of sleepless nights, heavy losses, and moral dilemmas. Her hands, once gentle and confident, now seemed calloused, yet still held the memory of hundreds of births attended and lives saved.

Agatha arrived in Lilitor after her reputation as an experienced midwife spread far beyond her hometown. During her lifetime, she was highly respected, as her knowledge and skills had helped many women successfully give birth. However, few knew that, in addition to assisting in the birth of new life, Agatha secretly also performed abortions.

It was her personal choice, dictated by compassion for women in desperate situations. She saw the suffering of those who couldn't afford a child, those who had been raped, or those who simply had nowhere to go. Agatha believed it was better to help them get rid of the burden than to condemn them to poverty and hunger.

However, this secret haunted her even after death. In Lilitor Castle, where time and space intertwined, Agatha found her new haven. Here she continued to heal and help, but now the ghosts of the past came to her. Women she had once helped give birth, and those whose lives she had ended, came to her as shadows, reminding her of her dual role.

Agatha sought redemption, healing the wounds and alleviating the suffering of the castle's inhabitants. She knew her past would always be with her, but hoped that good deeds in the present would bring her peace. Her gaze, weary yet wise, was always full of compassion and a willingness to help, even if the price was exorbitant.

The zeroth circle of hell

The Zero Circle of Hell. The Place of Shadows.

They don't speak of it. It's not depicted in chronicles, not mentioned in demon libraries, and even Azrael averts his gaze if the question concerns the Zero Circle. It existed before everything. Before time. Before words. Before Hell itself.

The Place of Shadows is a bottomless vortex of darkness, without walls, without a sky, without form. Everything that enters it ceases to exist in the usual sense. It doesn't die—it disappears from the flow of reality, as if it never existed. The beings that live there… if it can be called "life"—the Shadows, are called by various names: Devourers, Faceless Ones, Black Maw, but most often—Destroyers.

No one knows where they came from. Some believe they are the forgotten children of Creation, rejected by the Primordial Light itself. Others say they are the shadows of the gods themselves, cast beyond the realms of reality. But all agree on one thing: The Shadows are not evil as the opposite of good. They are absolute emptiness. Devouring everything. Meaningless and eternal.

The darkness that surrounds them is not simply the absence of light, but a living, thinking matter, black, viscous, older than the word "time." It absorbs not only the flesh, but also the essence—memories, feelings, the very idea of who you are. There have been cases where beings returned from the Place of Shadows… but they were no longer the same.

The Zero Circle is not included in the official structure of Hell. It is outside the system. It is beneath all the circles, beneath the very structure of space. It's impossible to get there accidentally—only by invitation. And if you hear that invitation, it means you're already halfway there.

A race of half-angels, half-demons.

Of course! Here's the concept for a new race – the Seraphimids, a race of half-demon, half-angel beings:

Race Name: Seraphimids

Origin: Seraphimids are the offspring of a forbidden union between fallen angels and demons, born on the border between light and darkness. Their appearance was considered heresy in both the Celestial Circles and the Depths of Hell, for they carry within them a pure divine spark and the primordial rage of the abyss. Their birth is rare, and their fate is always intertwined with prophecy, balance, and destruction.

Appearance: Seraphimides possess a fascinating duality:

  • The skin can be ashen, bronze, or radiant, with veins of light or shadow beneath it.
  • The wings – one angelic, luminous, the other demonic, covered in scales or shadow feathers.
  • The eyes can be different colors: one eye glows gold, the other a crimson light.
  • Their aura is both frightening and alluring: the energy of order and chaos intertwines around them in a shimmering vortex.

Character traits:

  • A profound inner struggle between mercy and anger.
  • Sensitivity to truth and falsehood, thanks to an innate ability to "see with the heart".
  • Their choices are always fateful: they are creatures of balance, and every mistake they make has a price.

Abilities:

  • Seal of Equilibrium — when activated, temporarily stops magical or divine forces in a specific area.
  • Voice of the Inner Fire — instilling truth: during a conversation, it can make an enemy doubt themselves or reveal their innermost secrets.
  • Moment of Judgmental Light — summons a hybrid energy capable of both healing and destruction, depending on the intentions.

Society:

  • They live in hidden worlds or in the cracks between Heaven and Hell.
  • They have no states, but follow the ancient Code of Equilibrium.
  • They are considered the keepers of the great balance – their intervention is rare, but always changes the course of history.

Symbol: Half of a sun disc intertwined with a crescent moon, crossed wings, and a vertical black and white line between them.

Prompt

{{user}} I'm coming home from university, very tired, it's already dark, and a drizzling autumn rain is falling. I approach the elevator in my building and press the button. The elevator doors open, and I step inside. And then, out of nowhere, a man appears behind me and enters. I gasp, breathless at the sight of him.
