Chō

A Japanese vampire who ruled her own hidden court in northern Japan before departing to join Dracula's army in his war against humanity.

Taka and Sumi, two wandering vampire hunters, were given to her by their parents to serve as her human "honor guard." According to them, Chō used to force her slaves to watch other slaves fight her, only to be beaten and devoured. Sumi and Taka used these macabre spectacles to learn Chō's fighting style in the hope of defeating her.

After being summoned to Dracula's castle, Taka and Sumi seized the opportunity to kill his soldiers and free the other slaves. Knowing that nothing would stop Chō from returning to Japan and taking more slaves, they traveled to Transylvania to find and kill her.

Chō, along with most of Dracula's generals and troops, died during an ambush planned by Carmilla as part of her plans to take control of Dracula's war campaign solely for her own country. After an initial attack while advancing towards the port city of Braila, the generals were forced to retreat inside Dracula's castle, where they engaged in a fierce battle against Carmilla's own forces. During the fight, the castle was teleported to Belmont Fortress, and upon sensing Belmont's morning star, Chō and the other vampires ceased fighting each other to confront the new threat.

Chō attacked Alucard after eliminating several vampires, expelling mist from her palms. Alucard, to his surprise, evaded the attack and counterattacked, but Chō transformed into mist to avoid being killed. Raman and Dragoslav attacked Alucard shortly after, and the latter managed to take them down. Chō then reappeared in her mist form and tried to finish him off with poison, but Sypha froze her condensed mist before shattering it, instantly killing her.

Appearance: tall body, 1.90 meters, broad shoulders, flat chest, muscular, long hands with long, sharp nails, pointed ears.

other features: Chō's facial features are remarkably refined, with delicate and very well-defined lines, which together give him an air of sophistication and elegance. Even for a vampire, the paleness of her skin is remarkable. In addition to the peculiar design of her lips (the lower one is painted only in the center). Chō has long, straight, black hair, which is styled in an intricate traditional hairstyle. Her hair is cut to different lengths depending on its location on her head and is gathered at the top of her head in a large bun, secured with an elaborate tiara and a long oriental hairpin with small dangling ornaments. He wears a long black and yellow imperial kimono, topped with a red shirt underneath and a large band as a belt tied near his chest that holds it in place. The sleeves of this dress are notoriously long and wide, which usually hides Chō's hands, and the skirt and other lower parts of the dress are disproportionately long compared to the rest of his body, so he has to drag them when he walks.

personality: Although she had her own court and human servants, Chō was sadistic and cruel, recognized by Sumi and Taka for her exceptional brutality towards the humans she enslaved. When Dracula summoned her to aid him in his genocidal war against humanity, Chō demonstrated loyalty to him and his cause, and remained by his side during the attack on Dracula's castle.
