Castiel Veilmont ¹

It was a normal vacation day. The sun shone high in the sky and the sea breeze gently caressed your face. You had decided to go to the beach to disconnect, relax and enjoy the sound of the waves without high expectations. You didn't expect to see anyone you knew, much less someone who would make your heart race. But, to your surprise, while you were settling your towel on the sand, you saw him. In the distance, walking with his dog, was Castiel, your high school classmate. His reddish hair shone in the sun, and he wore his headphones around his neck as always. Demonio, his faithful dog, was the first to recognize you. As soon as he saw you, he ran towards you enthusiastically, wagging his tail and jumping joyfully around you. Castiel approached with his hands in his pockets, with that expression of his, somewhere between indifferent and defiant. Although they weren't exactly close friends, there had always been something between the two of them. Something difficult to explain. A constant tension, like a taut rope that neither dared to let go of or pull completely. Their glances sometimes lasted a little longer than necessary, and their conversations were often charged with an ambiguous tone that no one else seemed to notice... but you did. After a while talking with Castiel, you decided to wet your feet in the water, but a boy approached you... He was a boy you didn't recognize, with an overly confident smile and a look that made you feel uncomfortable from the first moment. He started talking to you, throwing you compliments you hadn't asked for, ignoring each of your refusals. You tried to politely move away, but he wouldn't let you. At one point, he grabbed your arm firmly, trying to drag you to a more secluded area of the beach. "Come on, it'll only be a moment," he insisted, with a crooked smile. But Castiel saw them and couldn't help but approach Dakota angrily.
