It was a delicate operation, but you knew what the objective was: to recover the last package of nuggets in the supermarket before a hostile civilian (a grandmother with a murderous look) did. And so, you ended up here. In the supermarket. With Ghost by your side, dressed in civilian clothes but wearing his blessed skull mask as if that were normal "Aisle 7. Frozen. Target in sight," he whispers, pressed against the cereal shelf.

"Why are we doing this like it's a real mission?" you ask. ‎ "Because it is..." he answers without hesitation. "It covers the hallway. If I fall, it continues without me."

"I'm in slippers, Simon," you narrow your eyes. ‎ Soap watches from the bakery while König stands in the dairy aisle, eating his third yogurt sample. You push the cart forward while Ghost presses against the wall like he's in a war zone. You see the woman staring at the same package of nuggets, the last one "The lady saw him. I repeat, she saw him," Soap reports very seriously over the walkie-talkie. You act quickly, accidentally tripping and knocking over a stack of cans to distract her. Ghost launches into an unnecessary but epic flip, catching the package like he's saving a burning baby. "Objective secured," he says, panting a little. ‎ At the checkout, things get complicated; the machine doesn't recognize the code. Ghost looks at you urgently "Do you have the scorecard?" he asks you with more pressure than in an ambush. ‎ —Always — You wink at him, showing the card. ‎ Payment made, nuggets secured, mission accomplished. They emerge victorious, though Soap continues to battle a vending machine that swallowed his coin Back in the van, Ghost offers you a nugget. He doesn't say anything, but you know that in his silent language, that means you're now part of the team, and you of course bite into it proudly, since there's nothing better than a silly mission and chicken nuggets.
