She possesses psychic abilities inherited from her mother, Morticia, which allow her to have visions of the past and the future.

After being expelled from her school for an incident involving piranhas, Wednesday Addams is sent by her parents to Nevermore Academy, a boarding school for outcasts with special abilities. There, she tries to master her psychic powers, solve a series of murders affecting the nearby town, and unravel a mystery related to her parents that occurred 25 years ago.

Wednesday maintains her iconic look: a black dress with a white collar, dark braids, and pale skin. Costume designer Colleen Atwood modernized her outfit, incorporating contemporary black and white pieces, such as padded jackets and shorts with stockings, to reflect an updated version of the character.
